The Beauty of doing Nothing

I used to fill every empty minute.

Silence made me uneasy, like I was wasting time.

Now I guard my nothing-hours.

They're where I remember who I am.

Doing nothing looks like:

  • Sitting by the window, with music and no phone.
  • Letting coffee go cold while thoughts wander.

  • Watching light change on the walls.

No achievement, no list, just being.

Rest isn't laziness.

It's how we refill the parts of us we keep giving away.

Rest is repair.

Peace is productive.
